How much more can you spend on this channel?
Most budget decisions stop at "is the ROI still good?" — but every channel has a ceiling. This calculator works out how much more you can invest before the next pound you spend stops clearing breakeven.
Why it's the next pound that matters, not the average
As you add spend to a channel, each extra slice earns a bit less than the last — that's diminishing returns. Your average ROI can still look healthy long after the pounds you're currently adding have stopped paying for themselves. Headroom is where the next pound in, not your average so far, would drop below what your margin needs.
What the Diminishing Returns slider does
It sets how fast each extra slice of spend decays relative to the last. A channel with mild decay (Normal) can absorb a lot more spend before the next pound stops clearing breakeven; one with severe decay (Extreme) hits that point much sooner — and may already be there. If you're not sure, 90 is a reasonable starting point for an established, well-targeted channel.
Your numbers
Headroom Before Breakeven
Before the next pound stops clearing your 3.33x breakeven
The line the next pound of spend must stay above. Below this, that pound no longer covers its own cost.
